Sausage Party (2016)

I am probably being harsh with my rating but for such a star-studded cast, and expectation, this was horrendous. I mean if you are a pubescent teen who has just discovered sarcasm then you will probably find this too funny, the same way most kids do with Family Guy. 'Sausage Party' is a disaster of a film, and was very overhyped. I want to say I enjoyed parts but I'd be lying and definitely won't sleep at night. Where do I begin? There is pretty much no plot. It is super ridiculously over-sexualised. It was just really bad. I love Seth Rogen and his crew - they were amazing in 'This is the End' - but this, oh I don't want to know what they were thinking. I'm glad this is a cartoon type film so it's more acceptable to criticise so harshly, because had this been live-action, I just don't know what I'd say. I mean normally I'd even worm a quote in from the film in one of these but this was so bad it doesn't even deserve it. I'm sorry to all who were involved in making this; I hope I'm not being too harsh but damn, I'm just sorry. The same friend who claimed 'Blade Runner 2049' was boring just so happened to enjoy this, so that paints the picture perfectly. I just don't have enough words or energy to even try and find a positive in this.
